Gibran Campos enters his first season on Jessa Hansen Parkers inaugural Washington coaching staff, serving as an assistant coach for the Dawgs.
Campos brings deep ties to the club gymnastics scene in California, having worked with SCEGA Gymnastics, Airborne Gymnastics and Winners Gymnastics over the last decade-plus.

Since 2020, Campos has been the head coach at SCEGA Gymnastics in Temecula, California. With the club, he was responsible for overseeing the compulsory and optional programs, consisting of over 100 athletes. In addition to coaching duties, Campos was responsible for staff training, yearly reviews, rotation scheduling, parent communication and recruiting coordination.

With SCEGA, Campos coached multiple athletes to national championships and directed a myriad of gymnasts to regional and state championships. SCEGA was named the Southern California Optional Program of the Year in 2023 and 2024 and earned a top-3 finish in every optional level at the Southern California State Championship in 2023.

Campos was also a team coach with SCEGA Gymnastics from 2015-17.

Prior to returning to SCEGA, Campos served as an optional coach for Airborne Gymnastics in Santa Clara, California, from 2017-20. Directing levels 6-elite on vault and beam and assisting levels 6-10 on uneven bars and floor exercise, he coached multiple national qualifies and countless regional and state champions.

With Airborne Gymnastics, Campos coached 2019 USA Junior National Team member Kaliya Lincoln, who went on to sign a national letter of intent with LSU and earn a spot as a non-travelling alternate with the 2024 USA Olympic Team.

Campos got his start in coaching with Winners Gymnastics in Chino, California, serving at the club from 2010-14. With the club, he coached level 4-7 athletes in all four events and assisted with routine composition for athletes level 8-10. Campos also coordinated team camps for the club.

Campos earned a bachelorโs degree in media studies and journalism in 2014 from California State University, San Bernardino.
