PRIOR TO UW and PERSONAL
- At the age of 16, Chang won first place in the GolfBC Group BC Women's Open in the amateur division, where she also earned third place overall (including pro division)
- Won the Order of Merit, in winning the Vancouver Golf Tour Winter Season for the championship division. While playing at the 119th Women's Amateur at Balfour Golf Course, Chang finished second overall, on her way to breaking a course record with a score of 65 (-7)
- Runner-up at the Junior (U19) Championships in Kelowna, British Columbia
