GETTING TO KNOW BRITTANY KWON
Why Washington?: Chose to play at Washington because of the amazing coaches and good team environment. As well as the great academics and being in the city!
My favorite thing about Seattle: The variety of good food
If I could start a charity, it would be: Environment and wildlife. Help protect endangered species and preserve our planet
The person most inspirational in my athletic career: My parents
If you could have a walk-up song on the first tee box, what would it be?: DNA by Kendrick Lamar
What's your favorite photo on you phone?: Mt. Rainier which was taken on my sunrise hike.
Favorite TV show and Movies?: One Tree Hill, Crazy Rich Asians
- Appeared in nine of 10 events over the 2022-23 season
- Played in three of the Huskies' four events in the fall
- Washington's low scorer at the Stanford Intercollegiate
- Was having a solid tournament at the Mason Rudolph (5-over through two rounds), but had two withdraw in the third round due to injury
- Tied for 17th at the Juli Inkster Invitational, carding scores of 76-70-75

- Tied for 30th out of 60 at the Pac-12 Preview, with a score of 229 (10-over).
- UW's No. 2 finisher at The Show at Spanish Trail, at 8-over (tied for 28th).
- Shot a 4-over 220 at the Gunrock Invitational.
- Playing as an individual, tied for 15th place at the Seattle University Redhawk Invitational at Chambers Bay.

2020-21 (Sophomore):
- Competed in all 8 events, posting a 76.96 scoring average
- Led team and tied for 23rd at the season-opening SMU Trinity Forest Invitational, shooting +11 (73-78-76=227).
- Three top-25 finishes.
- Shot season-low 70 in first round of Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational.
- Competed in 6 events with a 75.76 stroke average
- Posted two rounds under par and finished third or better in the UW lineup in three of her six tournaments
- Opened her campaign by tying for 22nd at the WSU Cougar Cup with her best score of the year at 1-over 217
- Followed that with two more top 30 efforts, first placing 28th at the Molly Collegiate Invitational (14-over-230) then earning a tie for 26th at the Edean Ihlanfeldt (13-over-157)
- Earned her best score on the year to tie for 11st at the Bruin Wave Invitational (6-over-222) thanks to a final round of 2-under to climb 13 spots on the leaderboard
