Made her season debut, on bars, at Stanford.
Set a new career high on bars with a score of 9.875 at the Perfect 10 Challenge.
Earned a 9.800 on bars at Boise State.
Earned 9.800s on bars and beam vs. Sacramento State and Iowa.
Put up a 9.800 on bars against Southern Utah.
Set a new career high with a 9.900 on bars at UC Davis.
Had a 9.825 on floor at Regionals.

2018 (Sophomore)

In the home opener against Cal, had a score of 9.825 on bars, matching the GymDawgs' high for the meet.
Had a score of 9.825 on bars at the Metroplex Challenge.
Competed on bars at Utah, earning a score of 9.825.
Competed on floor for the first time against Oregon State, earning a score of 9.825.
Had scores of 9.825 on bars and floor against Arizona State.
Also earned a score of 9.825 on floor against Stanford.
Matched her career high on bars (9.825) and set a new career high on floor (9.875) at Southern Utah.
Had scores of 9.825 on beam and 9.850 on floor against UC Davis/Seattle Pacific.

2017 (Freshman)

Competed in her first collegiate event in the Huskies' home opener against Utah, scoring a 9.75 on bars.
Scored a 9.8 on the beam at Stanford.
Competed against Arizona State and scored her season-high on beam of 9.825.
Bested that season-high on beam with a 9.85 versus Arizona and also competed on the bars.
Competed on bars and beam in the meet with Kentucky/Illinois/NIU.
Scored 9.8 on both the bars and beam versus Seattle Pacific.
Tied season-best on beam for a third time in the Pac-12 Championships and also competed on the bars.
Scored a 9.825 on the beam in the NCAA Regionals.
Competed on the beam for the Huskies at the NCAA Championships.

		PREVIOUS COMPETITION
Took first place at the 2015 NIT in the beam, floor, and all-around competitions. Qualified for the Nastia Luikin Cup in 2014 Won the Region 8 Championship in all-around in 2014 Became the first athlete to win five gold medals at the 2012 Level 9 Eastern competition.

Parents are Julia and Dean Nelson... president of WSAAC. Michaela on UW: "I chose the University of Washington not only for its fantastic athletics, but also for its outstanding academics. The coaches are amazing, and the team has such a positive atmosphere. I'm so blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of such an incredible team."
