SEATTLE – The Washington gymnastics team heads to Tucson, Ariz., to take on Arizona on Friday, Jan. 9, at 5 p.m. MT.
The meet will stream on ESPN+ with Chris Harris and Michele Storm on the call. Live scoring will be available here.
Washington is coming off a strong showing highlighted by several standout performances. Freshmen Haley Fichiera and Jessica Schaffer made their collegiate debuts, with Fichiera tying for fourth place on floor and Schaffer competing in the vault and floor lineups for the first time. Senior Lilly Tubbs delivered her first competitive beam routine, earning a 9.875. Junior Kristin Lin posted a career-high 9.825 on beam, while junior Chelsea Hallinan matched her career-best score of 9.900, tying for fourth place. The Huskies' beam total marked the second-highest under head coach Jessa Hansen Parker.
