Bio
Completed her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation and Recreational Therapy at Florida International. Pursuing a Masters of Communication in Digital Media at Washington. A three-time Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal winner. Also on the Dean’s List and CCSA Honor Roll.
2022-23 (As A Sophomore)
A regular in the starting lineup for the Dawgs, going 10-19 in dual matches and 6-11 in fall competition … was 5-9 in dual play with Teagan DeFalco (2-3 at No. 3; 1-4 at No. 4; 2-2 at No. 5), and went 5-8 with Hannah Yerex all at No. 5, and was 0-2 with Maeve Griffin at No. 5.
Partnered with DeFalco: First win came in third match of season, beating 19th-ranked South Carolina’s Gleason/Gray, 21-17, 21-18 … topped Gonzalez/Ryan of Coastal Carolina in three sets on Feb. 26 … had three-straight third set losses, two coming by 14-16 final set scores, against No. 17 Arizona, No. 7 Stanford, and No. 4 USC, at the Pac-12 South Invite … consecutive victories over Oregon’s Plevin/Rothstein on Mar. 5 and 10 … a 21-18, 21-12 win over Byrd/Wenaas of Texas at No. 4 … one match together in the fall, a win over Bounds/Naess of Cal Poly at the West Coast Pairs Championships
Partnered with Yerex: First dual win as a duo came on Apr. 2, a 21-17, 21-19 win over Rau-Kim/Letvin of UC Davis … earned a 22-20, 21-17 win over Cal Poly’s Warren/Lloyd … beat Utah’s Jacinto/Pitzak, 21-18, 21-18 … two wins over Portland’s No. 5 Lee/Mumolo at the Husky Invite … had five wins together in the fall, four of those at the Alki Pairs tourney, where they beat Boise State’s Benson/Guerra-Acuna, and Oregon’s McAllister/Peterson … a 23-21, 21-15 win over Grand Canyon’s Biasbas/Checani at Arizona Fall Classic.

High School and Personal: Born in Sioux City, Iowa … parents are Sara and Joe Gormally … father wrestled collegiately at the University of Northern Iowa … during her three years of varsity volleyball at Notre Dame, Gormally recorded 557 kills, 139 digs and 114 blocks for the Pandas ... as a senior, was named Honorable Mention All-State by the Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association and earned the Notre Dame Academy Coaches Award ... as a sophomore she was named to the District 35 All-Tournament team ... a four-time member of the AVCA Phenom List (2015-18) ... was tabbed the Junior Volleyball Association (JVA) Beach Volleyball Watch List … co-president of the Uganda Pandas, a club working with children in Uganda and fundraising.

Played in 15 matches and 36 sets during her freshman campaign … averaged 0.92 kills per set with a .310 hitting percentage … served four aces, 20 digs and five blocks for the season … tallied a season-best nine kills and a.389 hitting percentage against Marshall (9/29).
