  CAREER SUMMARY

2018 (Sophomore)
Earned a 4.0-inning win against Saint Louis, striking out five (Feb. 9)... picked up four more strikeouts and her fourth straight win against Seton Hall (Feb. 17)... had a season-high seven strikeouts in her third win, against Lamar (Feb. 19)... got the win against #6 Texas A&M with 5.0 innings of relief, allowing just one unearned run (Feb. 24)... allowed only one earned run in a win over DePaul (March 10)... threw a scoreless inning of relief against #2 Oregon (April 29)... shutout Oregon State for two innings during a Husky win (May 6).

2017 (Freshman)
Played in 23 games in the circle, starting in 13… finished the season with an 8-2 record and 3.11 ERA… had a five-game win streak (Feb. 25-March 19)… set a career-high with nine strikeouts against Arizona State (March 19)… struck out 56 batters while walking just 26… gave up 71 hits and 31 earned runs… threw against Florida at the Women’s College World Series.

  HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB

Played for the Corona Angels club team, helping the 16U squad to a third-place finish at PGF Nationals after going 3-1 with a 1.12 ERA... twice named to the All-Mesa League First Team... had 466 strikeouts in 366.2 innings for Eastlake High, with an ERA of 1.89... was named All-Academic for the San Diego area.

  GET TO KNOW SAMANTHA

Favorite part about being a Husky: The culture and history that comes along with the jersey. We are playing not only for ourselves and our teammates but past players.
Best part of playing for Coach Tarr:  She is really invested in our success, you can see the excitement in her eyes when we do well.
Why did you choose the number you wear? I wore 30 all through travel ball and wanted to continue wearing it through the rest of my softball career.
