J.T. D'Amico

		BIOGRAPHY
D'Amico enters his 14th year with the Huskies once again helming one of the best defenses in the country. Washington's defensive coordinator, D'Amico has helped the Huskies earn five Defensive Player of the Year awards from the Pac-12 and has put five players on the Pac-12's All-Defensive Team since that award was created in 2017. Six times in D'Amico's tenure the Huskies have committed fewer than 45 errors, including a program-record 24 in 2021, six fewer than Washington has ever committed in a full season. The Huskies have finished first or second in the Pac-12 in fielding percentage eight times in D'Amico's tenure, finishing second in the nation in that category in 2013. In his first year with the Huskies, Washington took home the 2009 national championship, the first in program history. His younger brother, Jeff, played in MLB for eight years. D'Amico has a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University.
