2025-26 (Freshman)
- Made his collegiate debut in the season opening match vs Hawai'i, where he won 6-2,7-5 for his first career Singles victory over Hikaru Ziwen Ju.
- In his first Doubles start of the campaign, paired with fellow freshman Hyeonseok Seo, defeated Portland's Binder/Kimelman 6-1.
- In the first expanded team rankings of 2026, helped to lead Washington to a debut ranking of 66th in the country.
- Manned the No. 6 Singles position for the majority of the, made three appearances at the No. 5.
- Regular starter in Doubles at both the No. 3 with Hyeonseok Seo early in the season, before pairing with Nikola Plavsic at the No. 2 to begin Big Ten play.
- Recorded his first Big Ten Singles victory against #60 Indiana's Aryan Badlani in a three set match, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.
- With playing partner Nikola Plavsic, Daniel recorded his first Big Ten Double's victory against #46's Oregon's Breazu/Galligan.

Born in Prague, Czech Republic … mother is Katerina Saskova and father is Ladislav Bien … aunt, Karolina Simons, also attended Washington … achieved a high ITF junior ranking of No. 264 and ranked No. 5 among Czech Republic juniors … captured three ITF singles titles and two doubles titles … the Dubai U18 regional singles champion on the UTR Tour in 2024 … trained at TK Sparta Praha club … considering a business major.
