2017 Season (Senior): Second-Team United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I All-Far West Region selection and All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention pick ... one of two Huskies to start all 20 matches (Luke Hauswirth) and one of six to play in all 20 matches ... second on the team in minutes played with 1,704, averaging 85 minutes per game ... tallied four assists including one each in the final two games of the season ... recorded an assist against Stanford and added another against Loyola Marymount.
2016 Season (Junior): Played in 15 games, including 10 starts ... had two assists on the season ... assisted on a Mason Robertson goal in a 2-1 win at St. Mary's (9/1) ... played 954 minutes and finished with eight shots on the year.
2015 Season (Sophomore): Started all 18 games he played, missing just one due to a red card suspension … had two assists on from his spot at left back … assisted on a Kyle Coffee goal in a 2-1 loss at UCLA (11/8) … also had an assist in the season finale on Mason Robertson’s game-winner in a 1-0 victory over Oregon State (11/12) … played 1,704 minutes, nearly all at left back for the Husky defense that allowed just 0.63 goals per game … had five shots on the year…earned Second Team Academic All-Pac-12 honors.
2014 Season (Freshman): The freshman defender made 14 starts in 17 games played this season…in a 3-2 win over San Diego State (10/19/14), scored his first career goal…also assisted two goals during the season… earned his first collegiate start vs. USF (9/21/14)…recorded a game winning assist against win over Cal.
High School/Personal: Fiddes played his club soccer for the San Diego Surf Academy... Fiddes is an attacking left back who currently has two goals in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy...Has had U.S. National Team experience as he was invited to camp in Bradenton back in 2011.... According to CollegeSoccerNews.com, Fiddes was the 86th ranked recruit in the country.... He helped his team win the Cal South National Cup title and Far West Regional Championships before heading to the U.S. National Team camp... His father, Gregg Fiddes, played basketball for Worcester Polytechnic Institute.... Fiddes chose the University of Washington because of the “excellent coaching staff, great soccer and highly respected academic programs.”
Clark on Fiddes: “Justin is an attacking left back that you see in the other teams’ penalty box as much as he's in his own. He is a fantastic athlete and loves to make surging runs with and without the ball. His attacking instincts will allow him to play higher up the field to start with, but long term he will settle into the left back position.”
