Starting his first year with the men’s basketball program, Associate Athletic Trainer Chris Melton brings a wealth of Husky experience as he has been with the University of Washington since 2010. Melton has worked with women’s soccer, men’s and women’s rowing and men’s and women’s tennis while also being the lead CPR instructor for the athletic department. He came to UW after receiving his Masters from the University of Kentucky in 2009 and his bachelors from Purdue in 2007. Following a stint at Carson-Newman College as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, Melton made his trek to Seattle. Him and his wife, Erin, live in Mountlake Terrace and spend their time hiking, biking and with their dog, Charlie.
