2018-19 (Track): A full indoor season on the track, running the mile, 3,000-meters, and 5,000-meters β¦ competed at her first MPSF Championships and took ninth in the 5,000-meters in 17:15.39 β¦ season-best 5k time of 17:05.69 at the UW Invitational β¦ ran a best 3k time of 9:39.97 at the Husky Classic β¦ at the Last Chance Elite Meet, ran a 4:56.86 mile time for 20th β¦ outdoors, ran just once, at the early season Doris Heritage Festival, winning the 5k in 17:30.30 ...Β (Cross Country): Made her Husky debut after redshirting the previous year, and helped contribute to a Husky squad that finished ninth at the NCAA Championships β¦ was the No. 7 runner on the team at West Regionals and Pac-12 Championships, finishing 86th at Regionals and 59th at Pac-12s β¦ at Pre-Nationals in Wisconsin, finished 168th overall and seventh on the squad β¦ was the No. 6 runner at the Stanford Invitational in 47th-place.
2017-18 (Track): Redshirted her first season ...Β (Cross Country): Redshirted the season, competing twice unattached β¦ finished 35th at the Sundodger Invitational in 22:22 β¦ was sixth at the Emerald City Open in 22:17.
High School and Personal: Born in Sacramento, Calif. β¦ parents are Cynthia and David Carter β¦ was the Arizona Division I cross country state champion as a junior in 2015 β¦ did not run cross country as a senior but came back on the track and was state runner-up in both the 1,600-meters and 3,200-meters β¦ set the meet record in the 1,600-meters in the 2017 Meet of Champions at 4:55 β¦ displaying wide range, also made the state championships on the track in the 800-meters and on the 4x800-meter relay β¦ an Arizona Milesplit Distance Runner of the Year nominee β¦ earned Arizona Republic High Achiever Award and All-State Team selection β¦ multiple Arizona Interscholastic Association Scholar Athlete Award winner β¦ as a junior, was 12th in the Nike Cross Southwest Regional race and went on to finish 83rd at the national championships β¦ took fourth at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in 2017 in the 3,200-meters, running 10:35 β¦ graduated with a 4.5 grade point average.
