High School and Personal: Born in Perth, Australia โฆ mother is Terri Kurtis, father was Roger Smart โฆ one of the top juniors out of Australia, winning U18 and U20 national titles โฆ won the most outstanding performance of the meet at the 2019 Oceania U20 Athletics Championships after winning the 5k and 3k titles โฆ took the 2019 Australian U20 title in the 5k winning by over 30 seconds โฆ won the 2018 Australian U18 title at 3,000-meters in a time of 9:20.07 and was runner-up at 1,500-meters in 4:22.18 โฆ competed at the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas, finishing fifth in the 1,500m and sixth in the 3,000m.
