High School and Personal: Born in St. Marys, Georgia … parents are Rebecca and Thomas Sydnor Jr. … has one older brother, Dean, a 2017 UW graduate … father played baseball two years at the U.S. Naval Academy … reached the state championships in track as a sophomore, finishing 11th in the 1,600-meters … missed her junior and senior track seasons due to injury … was runner-up in the 800-meters and third in the 1,600-meters at the KingCo Championships as just a freshman in 2014 … third at KingCo as a sophomore with a 1,600m PR of 5:01.07 … as a junior in cross country, finished 24th at the 2015 4A State Championships and was ninth at KingCo … competed just once as a senior due to injury, taking 11th at KingCo to help her team reach state … graduated with a 3.98 GPA.
