Ramsey Named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

SEATTLE – Zach Ramsey was rewarded with the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Huskies to a 4-2 win over Penn State on Friday night. He bagged two goals and chipped in an assist in the Big Ten conference matchup victory.

In his six games played this season, Washington's goal-scoring machine has tallied at least two goals on four occasions. He's scored in all six of his appearances and has had three goal involvements in three matches, including against the Nittany Lions.

Ramsey's 11 goals and 24 points are the most in the nation. He's averaging 1.83 goals per game, 4.00 points per game, and 3.83 shots on goal per game, all the best marks in the NCAA.

Ramsey and the Huskies will look to keep the offense rolling on the first Big Ten road trip of the season this weekend. The Dawgs will face No. 2 Indiana on Friday night and No. 3 Ohio State on Monday.
