Dzepina Kicks Off FIBA U20 Eurobasket With Serbia Saturday

LJUBLJANA, Slovenia – Washington men's basketball rising sophomore Nikola Dzepina will represent his home nation of Serbia at the 2026 FIBA U20 Eurobasket, beginning with a 9:00 a.m. PT matchup with Poland Saturday at Arena Stožice II.
Serbia, slotted in Group B, will also play Latvia and Lithuania in the group stage.
Dzepina is no stranger to the youth national team scene with Serbia, playing in seven games during the 2025 FIBA U19 World Cup. During the World Cup, Dzepina averaged 16.4 points on 52.3 percent shooting, adding 5.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists, including a 26-point, seven-rebound outing against the Dominican Republic.
