All Three Dawgs In Top 20 After Two Rounds
May 19, 2026 | Men's Golf
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Emil Herstad, Finn Koelle and Jacob Goode have put themselves into contention after 36 holes at the NCAA Corvallis Regional at Trysting Tree Golf Club.
"Good day all round for the Huskies and they have all given themselves a chance going into the final round," head coach Alan Murray said.
Koelle matched the low round of the day, shooting 66 (-5) to move into a tie for ninth at 5-under overall. He shot 4-under on the back nine to move up 24 spots on the leaderboard after his even par round yesterday.
"Great round by Finn who finished really strong," Murray said.
Herstad had an up-and-down round but finished strong with three birdies in the final six holes to shoot 2-under for the day. He is in solo fourth at 7-under overall and two shots off the lead.
"Emil played as well as he did yesterday but a couple more bogeys hurt his ability to go lower but still shot a good round of 2 under." Murray concluded. "He plays with great poise for such a young guy. Really encouraging to watch him play this week."
Goode had a bogey-free round of 68 (-3) to move to 3-under overall and in a tie for 20th. All three of Goode's birdies came at the Par 5s.
"Steady from Jacob and took advantage of the par 5s," Murray added.
In the final round tomorrow, Goode will tee off at 9:53 a.m. PT while Koelle and Herstad will go off at 10:04 a.m. PT. Live scoring is available through Clippd and a live stream will be available through Babygrande Golf – which is a paid service.
