SEATTLE – No. 22 Washington women's tennis hits the road for the final time during the regular season with trips to No. 56 Penn State and at No. 5 Ohio State.
Friday's match in State College, Pennsylvania is set for a 1 p.m. PT start while Sunday's in Columbus, Ohio begins at 9 a.m. PT. Live stream and scoring information can be found on GoHuskies.com.
Washington enters the weekend with an overall record of 17-3 and 8-3 in Big Ten action.
DAWGS GETTING IT DONE ON ALL COURTS
Through 20 matches, Washington is a combined 103-26 across all courts in singles and doubles.
DOUBLE DAWGS
Washington has won 18 of 20 doubles points to start the season. The UW duos are a combined 39-8 in doubles action. UW is unbeaten on Court 2 in doubles.
HUSKIES IN THE ITA RANKINGS
Washington is No. 22 in the latest ITA Team Rankings that came out on April 14. Two Huskies are in the ITA singles rankings in No. 82 Erika Matsuda and No. 84 Reece Carter. In the doubles rankings, Matsuda and Carina Syrtveit are ranked No. 82.
HOME SWEET HOME
Under head coach Robin Stephenson, the Huskies are 115-29 in Seattle since 2015. The Huskies have posted double-digit home wins in four of the last five season, combining for 61 victories over that time. Washington completed its first undefeated regular season on Montlake for the first time since 2003.
SCOUTING THE NITTANY LIONS
Penn State is coming into the weekend with a 13-9 overall record and 4-7 in conference action. PSU is ranked No. 56 in the latest ITA team rankings. Penn State has a doubles team ranked in this week's ranking in Maelie Monfils and Olivia Dorner (No. 89). This season the Nittany Lions have a win over then-No. 25 Yale (4-2) on March 1. This marks the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

Ohio State enters the weekend with a 19-3 overall record and 10-1 in Big Ten play. The Buckeyes are ranked fifth in the ITA team rankings that came out earlier this week. OSU has four doubles teams ranked in Hephzibah Oluwadare/Teah Chavez (No. 24), Flora Johnson/Luciana Perry (No. 30), Audrey Spencer/Nao Nishino (No. 75) and Perry/Chavez (No. 84). In singles, Ohio State has four players ranked with two in the Top 5 – Perry (No. 4), Chavez (No. 5), Nishino (No. 77) and Spencer (No. 100). The series is split between the two programs at two games each.
