April 15, 2026 | Men's Golf
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – Washington men's golf wrapped up regular season action with a 13th-place finish at the Western Intercollegiate.
"Not the week we wanted obviously but Finn and Grady finished their rounds well today which is something to build on," head coach Alan Murray said. "We have to get better on and around the greens and be able to score better on our approach shots."
Finn Koelle led the way with a tie for 51st finish at 6-over (216) with a 1-under round today. Koelle's round is his 10th this season under par, which is tied with Jacob Goode and Grady Millar for the team lead.
Emil Herstad placed 61st, going 9-over for the tournament. He had a final round 6-over (76).
Millar had the second-best move up the leaderboard with a 1-over (71). He closed out the final round with four birdies in the final seven holes to post a back nine 32. Millar was 11-over overall to place in a tie for 65th.
Jake Foley tied with Millar at 11-over for the three rounds following a final round 73.
Jack Murphy closed it out with his best round of the tournament with a 74 (+4). He finished in a tie for 81st at 15-over.
Brock Mauling rounded out the lineup with a 17-over (227) and finished in 86th.
"Frustrating week of course but we have to learn from it and be better moving forward," Murray concluded. "We have to get to work and prepare for the Big Ten Championship now."
Washington will tee it up next at the Big Ten Championships on May 1-3 at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Ore. More information will be provided at a later date.
