B1G Invitational Next Up For No. 5 Washington Women

The Washington women's rowing team faces an extraordinarily busy weekend as seven Husky crews will each race three times over two days at the B1G Invitational, Saturday and Sunday at Lake Natoma.
This year's Invitational features 19 programs (11 from the Big Ten, plus eight others) competing in four eights and three fours (the same race categories as at the Big Ten Championships). Lake Natoma, located in Gold River, Calif., near Sacramento, has been host to multiple NCAA Championships and was the longtime home of the Pac-12 Championships.

Following this busy weekend of action, the UW women will have some time to prepare for the 2026 Opening Day and Windermere Cup Regatta, May 2 on Montlake Cut, when the Huskies will take on the national teams from Great Britain and Canada in the feature race.
