The Terrapins got on the board first once again in game three, with a Terp sending a two-RBI home run to left field to give Maryland the 2-0 advantage.
The Huskies evened the score in the bottom of the inning and never looked back.
Giselle Alvarez and Ally Hetzel hit back-to-back doubles in the bottom of the second, with Hetzel's extra base hit scoring Alvarez.
Starting in the nine hole on Sunday, Gabi Toney recorded an RBI single later in the inning to bring in Hetzel and even the score 2-2.
Half of the total run count game in the bottom of the third, starting with a center field single from Glab.
Hetzel then singled to bring in Glab, the third UW run of the day. Ava Carroll then broke the game wide open with a three-RBI home run, her third of her junior campaign.
Two more runs came in the bottom of the sixth, to extend the Husky lead to 8-2. Annika Ticen recorded her first hit of the season in her very first at-bat of the year, an RBI single that brought in Marley Teasley.
