WACO, Texas – No. 23 Washington women's tennis improves to 5-0 with a 4-0 win over Baylor at the Hawkins Indoor Tennis Center.

Alexia Jacobs and Marie Weissheim made easy work in doubles on Court No. 2, 6-2. The duo improves to 4-0 on the season. Reece Carter and Jermine Sherif secured the double point with a 6-2 win on Court No. 3.

The middle of the singles lineup got it done to secure the match. Jacobs was the first to finish with a 6-1, 6-2 victory on Court No. 3. Sherif followed with a win over the 98th-ranked singles player in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. No. 115 Weissheim clinched the match with a thrilling second set win at 6-3, 7-5.

Next up, the Huskies begin a six-match stretch at home beginning with Utah on Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. PT.
