
No. 18 Washington Set For Tiger Beach Challenge

SEATTLE – No. 18 Washington beach volleyball travels to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to compete in the Tiger Beach Challenge on Friday, Feb. 27, and Saturday, Feb. 28.
This weekend's matches will be streamed on LSU's live YouTube Channel from the LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium.
The Huskies open tournament play Friday against UAB at 7:15 a.m. PT, followed by a matchup against ULM at 12:15 p.m. PST.
On Saturday, Washington faces Southern Miss 6:00 a.m. PT before closing the weekend against No. 12 LSU at 12:00 p.m. PT.
Last weekend, Washington opened its 2026 season in Malibu, Calif., finishing 3-1 in matches against Vanguard, Pepperdine, and Long Beach at the Pepperdine Challenge. The Huskies earned a 5-0 sweep over Vanguard and picked up two wins over Pepperdine by scores of 3-2 and 4-1 before falling in a tightly contested 3-2 decision to Long Beach State. Three of the weekend's matches were decided by a 3-2 score, with Washington securing one victory in those close contests. The Huskies saw several new faces in the lineup, with newcomers contributing across multiple pairs throughout the opening weekend.
UAB enters the weekend at 2-3, while ULM holds a 1-3 mark. Southern Miss owns a 2-2 record, with host LSU sitting at 5-0 heading into the Tiger Beach Challenge.
