
Washington Records Season-High Total Against No. 5 UCLA

LOS ANGELES — The Huskies scored their highest total of the season but fell to No. 5 UCLA, 198.150–195.775, on Friday night at Pauly Pavilion.
Washington opened on bars, posting one of its best rotations of the night and its highest bars score of the season with a 49.275. Mary McDonough led the rotation with a 9.900, matching her career high. Olivia Oppegard and Deiah Moody followed with 9.875s, also matching their career highs. Lilly Tubbs contributed a 9.850, while Kristin Lin recorded a season-high 9.775. Caitlin McWilliams matched her season-high on bars with a 9.725.
On vault, the GymDawgs recorded a 48.925, their best vault score of the season. Kira Bolden posted a career-high 9.850 to lead the rotation. Lin followed with a 9.825, matching her career-high, while McDonough added a 9.775. Caitlin McWilliams matched her career-high with a 9.750.
Washington continued strong on floor with its top rotation of the night, scoring a 49.275. McDonough earned a 9.900, marking her season-high. Lin and McWilliams each added a 9.875, while Jessica Schaffer contributed a 9.825.
The Huskies closed the meet on beam, scoring a 48.300. Anchor Chelsea Hallinan led the rotation with a 9.875, while Tubbs followed closely with a 9.850. Lin and Moody each added a 9.800, with Moody matching her career-high on beam.
Lin ended the night scoring a 39.275, recording a career-high in the all-around.
