
Washington Gymnastics Heads To No. 22 Maryland

SEATTLE – The Washington gymnastics team heads east this weekend, traveling to College Park, Md., to face No. 22 Maryland on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 4:30 p.m. PST.
The meet will stream on B1G+ with Christina Chauvenet and Owen Korzak on the call. Live scoring will be available here.
Washington is coming off its second meet of the season, falling to Arizona 194.650-195.425. Despite the result, the GymDawgs turned in several standout performances, highlighted by Chelsea Hallinan's beam title. Hallinan posted a 9.900 to claim the event win, matching her career-high and marking her second 9.900 of the season on beam.
The GymDawgs also saw strong contributions across the lineup. Kristin Lin matched her career-high on beam with a 9.825, while Kira Bolden recorded a season-high 9.800 on vault. Jessica Schaffer added a career-high 9.750 on vault, and Lilly Tubbs also posted a season-high 9.750 on the event.
Following the Arizona meet, Washington's beam squad ranks No. 15 nationally on Road to Nationals, with Hallinan sitting No. 8 on beam in the Big Ten.

Maryland enters the meet after winning the Terrapin Quad Meet with a score of 195.700, topping New Hampshire 194.500, George Washington 193.200, and Long Island 190.350. The Terps placed first on all four events (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor), demonstrating strength and consistency throughout their lineup.
