UW Tripped Up In Second Half In 86-72 Loss To Nebraska

SEATTLE – Mekhi Mason scored 23 points and Tyler Harris notched a double-double, but Washington was felled by Nebraska, 86-72, at Alaska Airlines Arena on Wednesday.
Nebraska started the second half with a 15-2 run to erase a 10-point halftime deficit and take a 52-49 lead.
UW was able to reclaim the lead at 57-56 with 11:17 left but never led again.
The Huskies matched their largest lead with a 47-34 advantage and 2:45 left in the first half.
UW built a 13-point lead with a Mason three-pointer with 10:32 left in the first half.
Mason made all three of his three-point attempts in the first half and 4-of-6 overall as part of an 8-for-12 shooting night.
Harris made 3-of-6 threes for 14 points to go with 11 rebounds.
Great Osobor scored 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds and tallied five assists.
The Huskies shot 53 percent in the first half including 56 percent from three.
