UW Drops Crosstown Matchup To Seattle U

SEATTLE – Desmond Claude delivered a season-high 24 points and Hannes Steinbach slotted a double-double, but the Huskies fell short Friday night, dropping the road matchup to Seattle U 66-70 inside Climate Pledge Arena.
Desmond Claude's game-high 24 points came on 9-of-14 shooting and were accompanied by three rebounds and four assists.
Hannes Steinbach recorded his sixth double-double of the season, putting up 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Zoom Diallo added his eighth double-digit performance, notching 17 points, including a perfect 7-for-7 from the line, along with three boards and three dimes.
The Huskies held a 29-26 lead at halftime but a 44-point second half by Seattle U led the Redhawks to their second straight victory over Washington.
The Dawgs will face San Diego back home at Alaska Airlines Arena on Monday, Dec. 22 at 7 p.m.
