October 03, 2025 | Men's Soccer
SEATTLE – Washington continued its hot streak on Friday night, dismantling No. 12 Indiana by a score of 3-0 at Husky Soccer Stadium. It's the Huskies' first ranked win of the season.
Washington is now 7-3-2 on the year with a 4-1 record in the Big Ten. The Huskies' 12 points are four more than the next closest team in Maryland with eight and third straight shutout.
The Dawgs were relentless and on the offensive from the jump. Washington nearly doubled Indiana's shot total by launching 26, including 13 on target compared to the Hoosiers' 14 total strikes.
The Huskies took the lead just 20 minutes into the match when Richie Aman found Alex Hall on the left side of the box for an emphatic goal. Hall now has three goals on the season and it was the first of two assists on the night for Aman.
The Huskies maintained the advantage into halftime in large part because of two huge saves from Jadon Bowton to prevent the equalizer.
Coming out of the break, Washington continued the offensive onslaught. The Huskies tallied 14 of their 26 shots in the second period.
The breakthrough for the second goal came in the 74th minute when an Alex Hall cross was struck perfectly on the volley by Charlie Kosakoff. Nick O'Brien was instrumental in the buildup, earning an assist on the play.
Kosakoff is now tied for the team lead with five goals while Hall dished his sixth assist of the season on the play.
Washington wasn't finished yet, however. The Dawgs found a third goal in the 83rd minute as Richie Aman's corner kick was hammered home off the head of Asher Hestad for his first career goal.
Aman now has nine assists, the joint-ninth most assists in a season in program history. It was also his fourth multi-assist game this season.
The Huskies were supported by 2,805 cheering fans on Friday night, the 13th-largest crowd UW men's soccer has seen at Husky Soccer Stadium.
Washington now has a week off before returning to action at Rutgers on October 17.
