SEATTLE – Washington men's and women's golf teams will compete in the 2026 St Andrews Links Collegiate in St Andrews, Scotland, Golf Channel and St Andrews Links Trust announced today.
The fourth annual event will be held October 12-14, 2026. The first two rounds of stroke play will be held on the Jubilee Course to crown the individual champion while the final round will be a match play format at the Old Course to determine the team champion.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to compete in the 2026 St Andrews Links Collegiate," UW women's head coach Anna Temple said. "This is truly a once in a lifetime experience for our student-athletes. Not only will it give our players an opportunity to play abroad, but the opportunity to play where our sport began is incredibly meaningful."
Joining the Huskies in the field are Texas, Penn and the University of St. Andrews.
"Really honored to be part of such a special tournament," UW men's head coach Alan Murray said. "Having the opportunity to play in a college tournament at St Andrews is a very rare occasion and we couldn't be more excited to get to the home of golf next year and compete."
