TULSA, Okla. -- Washington seniors Cesar Bouchelaghem and Dzianis Zharyn grabbed a big top-40 doubles win today to extend their stay at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa. The Dawgs beat the other Dawgs from Georgia in two tight sets.
Bouchelaghem and Zharyn bounced back today in the backdraw after they dropped their main draw first round match on Wednesday. Today, facing 33rd-ranked Paulsell and Colby of UGA, the Huskies took the first set in a tiebreak and then broke serve to win the second set and the match, 7-5.
The 10th-ranked Huskies will face Aidan Kim and Alexander Bernard of Ohio State, a new Big Ten rival, on Friday at 2 p.m. PT
