Gymnastics To Compete At Pac-12 Championships

SEATTLE – The 27th ranked Washington gymnastics team will compete at the 2024 Pac-12 Championships on Saturday, March 23 at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah.
For the final league championship of the Pac-12 conference, the Huskies will be in the first session at 12 p.m. PT as the eighth-seed. They will compete in the quad with No. 5 seed Stanford, No. 6 seed Arizona State and No. 7 seed Arizona.
Seeding for Pac-12s are based on national rankings, which are determined by National Qualifying Score (NQS). The winner of the Pac-12 Championships will be the team with the highest score from the two quad sessions.
The meet will be broadcast on Pac-12 Networks and Jim Watson (play-by-play) and JaNay Honest (analyst) will be on the call.
The Huskies will start session one on the balance beam, before moving to floor, vault and then wrapping up the afternoon on bars.
Washington is ranked 5th in the Pac-12 and 16th nationally on beam with an NQS of 49.340 and a high of 49.450, which the Huskies earned at their final home meet on March 15.

Skylar Killough-Wilhelm is ranked 5th in the conference in the all-around with a 39.510 NQS after recently earning a new career-high 39.700 on Senior Night on March 15.
Emily Innes is currently ranked 12th on floor in the conference with a 9.905 NQS and a 9.925 season-high. Killough-Wilhelm is also tied for 12th in the Pac-12 with a 9.905 NQS and a recently earned career-high 9.975 on floor.
Taylor Russon is 16th in the conference on beam with a 9.890 NQS and 9.925 season-high, which the senior has matched twice this season.
Killough-Wilhelm is 13th in the Pac on bars where she has a career-high 9.975 (9.895 NQS) and Lilly Tubbs is ranked at No. 14 (9.890 NQS and 9.950 season-best).
On vault, Killough-Wilhelm is tied for 18th in the league (9.860 NQS and 9.900 season-high). Lana Navarro is 24th (9.845 NQS and 9.900 season-high) and Innes is narrowly behind Navarro at No. 27 (9.840 NQS and 9.875 season-best).
LAST TIME OUT – WASHINGTON QUAD MEET
The Huskies earned their best home score of the season at the Washington quad meet on March 15, earning a 197.175 – second only to their 197.200 at the Boise State quad.
Washington won the quad over BYU, Southern Utah and Sacramento State as they notched a 49.450 on beam to tie the fourth highest score on the event in program history. The GymDawgs' 49.425 to round out the evening was the seventh highest floor score in Washington history.
2023 PAC-12 CHAMPIONSHIPS
The GymDawgs earned a 196.375 at the 2023 Pac-12 Championships, enough to tie for second in the first session of the competition.
Killough-Wilhelm tied for first all-around in the first session with a 39.400.
