
Washington Releases Full 2025 Softball Schedule

SEATTLE – Washington softball announced its complete 2025 schedule on Tuesday, highlighted by 51 total games with 12 at Husky Softball Stadium.
In addition, the schedule features eight teams that reached the 2024 NCAA Tournament and five ranked in the final NFCA Top 25 poll.
Washington kicks off the season at the Candrea Classic in Tucson, Arizona February 7-9. Over five games, the Huskies will face Alabama (twice), Arizona (twice) and Western Michigan.
UW heads back down to The Grand Canyon State for the Littlewood Classic February 14-16. Split up between two venues, the Huskies will compete at GCU Softball Stadium in Phoenix to face Utah Valley and Grand Canyon (Feb. 14) and North Dakota (Feb. 16). On February 15, Washington will play at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium in Tempe against Weber State and Arizona State.
After a year away from the tournament, UW returns to the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, California running from February 20-23. Washington will play BYU, UC Riverside, Cal, UC Santa Barbara and Fresno State.
The Huskies then make the drive over to Northridge to face CSUN for the first midweek action on February 24 before flying to Hawaii. While in Honolulu for the Rainbow Wahine Classic (February 26-March 1), the Dawgs will face Jackson State, Howard and Hawaii.
UW closes out the non-conference tournament schedule in Pocatello, Idaho. The Huskies are set to compete against Idaho State, Montana, Utah and Boise State from March 8-10.
Rounding out the non-con schedule are three midweek contests. UW will host Cal Poly on March 25. On the road, the Huskies will travel to Eastern Illinois (March 27) and Seattle U (April 1).
Washington opens its inaugural Big Ten slate against Oregon at Husky Softball Stadium. The Huskies will also face Rutgers (March 21-22), Wisconsin (April 4-6) and Nebraska (April 25-27) at home.
The conference road slate includes Illinois (March 28-29), UCLA (April 11-13), Michigan State (April 18-20) and Penn State (May 2-4).
The Big Ten Tournament will take place at Purdue's Bittinger Stadium from May 7-10.
Game times and network designations will be announced at a later date. All dates and times are subject to change.
