
Harris, Diallo Lead Huskies To 77-60 Win Over Alcorn State

SEATTLE – Washington capped its three-game homestand with a 77-60 win over Alcorn State on Friday night at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Sophomore Tyler Harris scored 15 of his career-high 27 points in the second half as Washington (4-1) outscored Alcorn State 41-26 in the final 20 minutes.
The Huskies went on a 9-0 run to build a ten-point lead with 9:25 left. UW's next seven points came at the free throw line as the Dawgs were able to repeatedly draw contact in the second half.
Harris was a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw stripe and shot 8-of-11 from the field. He also grabbed eight rebounds.
Zoom Diallo and Great Osobor connected on a fastbreak alley-oop dunk before the first media timeout amidst a back-and-forth first half.
Diallo finished with a career-high 15 points. He also added four assists.
Diallo and fellow freshman Jase Butler, who recorded seven points and four rebounds, finished a combined plus-44 on the evening.
UW shot 49 percent in the contest.
A pair of California road trips awaits the Huskies, starting with the Acrisure Invitational next week. Washington plays Colorado State on Thanksgiving night at 3:30 p.m. PST on TruTV.
Following two games in Palm Springs, the Dawgs will hit the road for the conference opener at UCLA on Dec. 3.
