
Second Half Surge Gives UW 77-62 Win Over SPU

SEATTLE – Behind a 50-24 second half, Washington defeated Seattle Pacific 77-62 on Wednesday night at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Washington (2-1) trailed at halftime, but came out of the locker room re-energized. Great Osobor (18 points), DJ Davis (18 points) and Tyler Harris (13 points) each scored double figures in the second half.
Osobor had five of his career-high seven steals after halftime to go along with eight rebounds. He is the first Big Ten player since 2002 with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven steals in a game.
Davis hit several key three-pointers in close succession and finished 4-of-7 from beyond the arc.
Harris scored 11 of his season-high 13 points in the final 20 minutes and finished shooting 6-of-12 from the field. The sophomore also set new career highs with four blocks and four steals.
Tyree Ihenacho tied a career high with eight assists.
The Huskies shot 45 percent from the floor.
UW hosts UMass Lowell on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The game is part of a Dawg Doubleheader and fans with tickets to the men's basketball game or volleyball game (1 p.m.) can attend the other game for free.
