
Washington Shuts Out LMU

SEATTLE – Washington men's soccer picked up its sixth win of the season in a 2-0 victory over Loyola Marymount on Monday night at Husky Soccer Stadium.
UW moves to 6-4-5 on the season.
Jadon Bowton and the Husky defense recorded their fourth shutout of the season. Bowton added on three saves in the contest.
After a couple of great chances in the first 30 minutes of action, the Huskies were able to find the back of the net on Charlie Kosakoff's second goal in as many matches. He is now tied with Peter Kingston for the team lead in goals (5).
True freshman Alex Hall doubled the lead early in the second half for his first career goal in his first career start. He was assisted on the goal by Richie Aman.
The Huskies return to Husky Soccer Stadium on Friday night versus Rutgers for Senior Night. In a pregame ceremony, UW will honor its 10 seniors in Jadon Bowton, Caden Buckley, Jack Maguire, Peter Kingston, Chris Meyers, Cooper Brunell, Chris Peretti, Sean Sent, Rhys Gourdie and Conner Leber. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on B1G+.
