Washington Reveals First Non-Conference Test of 2023-24 with Las Vegas Tournament

Washington men's basketball will play in the Continental Tire Main Event on November 17 and 19 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
San Diego State, Saint Mary's and Xavier will also play in the tournament. Full schedule to be announced.
"We are excited to play in such a prestigious tournament," Head Coach Mike Hopkins said. "The possibility of playing three teams that were all in the top-20 of the NET last season is incredible. This will be a great test to see where our team stands and where we have to go."
The Huskies played Saint Mary's on Thanksgiving in 2022, defeating the Gaels to capture the Wooden Legacy Championship in Anaheim. The other two potential opponents in the Continental Tire Main Event each made deep postseason runs with Xavier advancing to the Sweet 16 and San Diego State reaching the National Championship game.
UW has not played either the Musketeers or Aztecs in the Mike Hopkins era, having last played SDSU in the NIT in 2016. The Huskies have played Xavier just twice in their history with both matchups coming before the turn of the century.
