
UW Wraps Up Day One At Silverado Showdown

NAPA, Calif. – The Washington women's golf team finished the first day of the Silverado Showdown Monday at Silverado Resort and Spa in a tie for 12th place.
The Huskies shot a team score of 21-over 309. The three-day tournament continues with round two, beginning Tuesday morning.
Stefanie Deng had the low round among the five Husky competitors, shooting a 3-over 75. Starting her round on No. 10, she bogied three of the first four holes before playing the remainder of her round at even par.
Brittany Kwon was the next lowest UW golfer, with a 5-over 77, with Jamie Hsieh one stroke back of her, with a 6-over 78.
Camille Boyd finished her day with a 7-over 79 while Kennedy Knox carded an 8-over 80.
