
Huskies Set For NCAA Regionals In Stockton

The Washington men's golf team travels Stockton, Calif., where they'll compete this Monday through Wednesday, May 16-18, to earn a spot at the NCAA National Championships May 27-June 1 in Scottsdale.

The Huskies will play at the NCAA Stockton Regional, at The Reserve at Spanos Park. The 54-hole, three-day tournament will be held on the par-72, 7,315-yard course.Β

The Huskies are one of 14 teams that will compete in Stockton, After three rounds of play, the low five teams and one individual (among those not on those five teams) advance to nationals at Grayhawk Golf Club at the end of the month.

The 30 teams and six individuals that advance to Scottsdale will play three rounds before the field is cut in half. Those 15 teams will play a fourth round, with the top-eight finishing teams advancing to match play quarterfinals.
