
Washington Beats Utah In First Round Of Pac-12 Tournament

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Washington men's basketball team came out on top in their match-up with Utah 82-70, in the first round of the Pac-12 Championship Tournament.
The Huskies (17-14, 11-9) started heating up on the offensive end halfway through the first half, with Cole Bajema hitting a big three, followed by an and-one on the next play.
Terrell Brown Jr. also started getting creative, carving up the Red Rocks (11-20, 4-16) defense. At the break, the Dawgs had the 40-37 lead.
The Huskies pulled away with 10 minutes left in the contest, going on a 16-2 run over six minutes.
Brown ended the night with 22 points, moving him to fifth in all-time single season scoring in Washington history. Jamal Bey knocked down 19 and Bajema contributed 16.
Next, the Huskies will face third seeded USC, tomorrow, March 10 at 8:30 p.m. PST.
