Women’s Soccer Signs Standout Midfielder For 2022 Season

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Washington women's soccer team signed another addition to their 2022 roster, Kelsey Branson. Branson is from San Diego, CA where she attended Cathedral Catholic High School.
Branson will provide depth for the Huskies in the midfield and forward positions. In high school, Branson was the leading goal scorer for two consecutive seasons.
Along with being her team's leading scorer and captain in her senior season, Branson was named to the All-Western League First Team all four years in high school. She earned the CIF- San Diego Western League Player of the Year and was named to the CIF- California All Sate First Team in the 2021-22 season.
When Branson is not on the soccer field, she enjoys playing volleyball and surfing.
The Huskies are excited about the potential that Branson brings to the team and can't wait to welcome her into the Washington family.
