SEATTLE – The #7 Washington Huskies took home their biggest Pac-12 of the season, beating the UCLA Bruins 5-1 on Senior Day. Kendall Burks and Nick Scardina both had braces in the game. Charlie Ostrem had three assists, Washington's second three-assist game of the season. Dylan Teves had a goal and an assist, while Christian Soto and Cole Grimsby picked up assists as well. Washington is 10-2-0 overall and 7-2-0 in Pac-12 play heading into the season finale at Stanford next week.

Scardina is the first Husky since Handwalla Bwana in 2017 to have a hat trick and a brace in the same season after today's performance. Ostrem joins Teves as the only Huskies with three-assist games in the last 20 years. Ostrem is just the ninth Husky ever with three or more assists in a game.

Washington came out of the gates on fire, outshooting UCLA 13-3 in the first half alone and taking a 4-0 lead. The Huskies scored three goals in a seven-minute span to break open the game and had all four first-half goals in the first 26 minutes. It was the first four-goal half by the Huskies since 2016. Washington has not scored more in a half since 2000, when they scored six goals against Cal in the second half.

Sam Fowler and Andrew Morrison combined in net, allowing just one goal. Fowler made two saves, while Morrison worked 13 scoreless minutes to finish off the big win.

		SCORING
13' \| Burks skied high in the air to get his head on Teves' corner kick entry. Burks' shot went across goal to the right post for the Husky lead. 16' \| Washington's next corner kick just three minutes later added to the lead. Burks again leapt to get his head on the ball, this time going high over a defender at the far post to push the ball home. 20' \| Ostrem sent a pinpoint pass to an onrushing Scardina from nearly the centerline, finding Scardina's head for a beautiful third goal. 26' \| After Soto won a loose ball, Teves let loose with a low laser to make it 4-0. 69' \| UCLA got on the board, scoring on the run with a low service into the box. 77' \| The Huskies built an attack quickly: Ostrem one-touched a pass to Grimsby, who immediately fed it into the box to Scardina to finish it off and make it 5-1.

		NOTES
Burks is the first Husky defender to score a brace since Ethan Bartlow did against Marshall on December 1, 2019. Ostrem is the first Husky with ten assists since Michael Harris in 2013. The last Husky with more assists in a single season was Wes Hart, who had a program-record 15 in 1998. Ostrem is the fifth Husky ever with a ten-assist season. Ostrem has seven assists in his last five games. Teves is now second in the Pac-12 in points with 19. Teves has 16 points in ten Pac-12 games. Soto has a goal and four assists in four career games against UCLA. Scardina has a hat trick and a brace this season in six starts this season.

The regular season wraps up on the road on Saturday, April 17 at Stanford at 12:30 pm.
