SEATTLE โ The #8 Washington Huskies won 5-0 over Seattle U in their first home game since the 2019 Super Regionals, a span of 22 months. Seattle U's second batter of the game singled: the Redhawks wouldn't have another baserunner until one out in the seventh inning.

Sis Bates set the Washington program record for career triples tonight with her 17th, breaking a tie with Ashley Charters and Becky Newbry. Baylee Klingler had a perfect 3-for-3 day, driving in two runs. Megan Vandegrift came off the bench and scored two runs, ripping a single in her only at-bat.
Gabbie Plain retired 18 straight at one point during another impressive performance from the two-time All-American. She struck out the side twice and ended the day with 12 strikeouts in all.
