Pro Dawgs In The NFL: Week 13 Recap

NOTABLE PERFORMERS
It was another fantastic weekend for Huskies in the NFL, and Vita Vea had perhaps the BIGGEST weekend of all former Dawgs. Vea had just two tackles, but they were both sacks. He also had three quarterback hits as the Buccaneers downed the Falcons ... Budda Baker and Byron Murphy had another Pro Bowl worthy weekend for the Cardinals, each picking off a pass. Baker returned his pick 77 yards and also had five tackles. Murphy had six tackles, 0.5 sacks and had an interception that he returned 13 yards to help Arizona maintain their stature as the best team in the NFL ... Levi Onwuzurike continued his rookie surge, racking up three tackles, including one for a loss, as the Lions picked up their first win of the season ... Myles Gaskin and Salvon Ahmed continued to provide a 1-2 punch for the Dolphins and helped them win their fifth game in a row. Gaskin had 15 carries for 44 yards, while Ahmed had eight carries for 23 yards ... Cory Littleton continues to rack up tackles for the Raiders, recording six more against the Washington Football Team ... Greg Gaines keeps on showing up in the stat sheet for the LA Rams every week and was a terror in the Jaguars backfield, picking up four tackles and two quarterback hits. Teammate Taylor Rapp added three tackles ... Will Dissly made two receptions for seven yards and Sidney Jones had three tackles and a big pass defense in the end zone with the game on the line in the Seahawks thrilling win over the 49ers ... Monday Night Football featured a defensive struggle in wild weather and Myles Bryant and his Patriots came out ahead of the Bills. Bryant made five tackles and was credited with a pass defense.
