
Coleman Earns First Team Academic All-America Honors

SEATTLE – Washington senior running back Jonah Coleman a first team Academic All-America by College Sports Communicators, the organization announced today.
He is the first Husky to earn a first team honor since Rome Odunze following the 2023 season, when he was also named the Academic Team Member of the Year. It is just the 16th time a Husky has earned first team Academic All-America honors.
In the classroom, Coleman boasts a 3.93 GPA while working towards his degree in education studies: sports and education that he earned in December. Coleman is a four-time Dean's List honoree at UW. He was also one of two Washington student-athletes invited to present to the University of Washington Board of Regents to share his student-athlete perspective on the broader impact of institutional decisions.
On the field, Coleman ranks fifth nationally with 17 total touchdowns. His 102 total points scored was seventh in the Big Ten. Coleman has rushed for 758 yards while also catching 31 passes for 354 yards. Twice this season Coleman was named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week and was named the Doak Walker National Running Back of the Week after season opener. Coleman was named a Big Ten honorable mention selection by the coaches and media.
