Huskies Go Separate Ways For Two Tourneys

SEATTLE -- Huskies are mushing to the east and down south this weekend for two more fall individual tournaments. Washington will be sending six across the state to Spokane to fight through the Gonzaga Invitational, and four more Huskies are off to Rolling Hills Estates in Southern California to partake in the Jack Kramer Invitational. Both tournaments will run from Friday through Sunday, Nov. 5-7.
At the Stevens Center in Spokane, the Huskies will go up against players from around the Northwest, including Oregon, Portland, Eastern Washington, Idaho, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, and host Gonzaga. Competing for the Dawgs will be Ashley Chang, Tara Chilton, Kelly Leung, Yolanda Lin, Hikaru Sato, and Zoey Weil.
The four Huskies traveling to the Jack Kramer Club include Sarah-Maude Fortin, Astrid Olsen, Vanessa Wong, and Nika Zupancic. They'll take on competition from the likes of UCLA, USC, Pepperdine, Arizona, Cal Poly, Loyola Marymount, Fresno State, and Cal State Fullerton.
