
Manke Named Pac-12 Golfer Of The Month

SAN FRANCISCO -- Washington senior RJ Manke was named the Pac-12 Golfer of the Month for October the Conference announced.
The grad transfer from Pepperdine earned medalist honors at both the Fighting Irish Classic and Oregon State Invitational to lead Washington to a pair of team victories. He recorded a 67.0 scoring average across six rounds for the month.
Manke, originally from Lakewood, Wash., carded a closing round of 6-under-par 64 en route to a 12-under 198 total (67-67-64) and one-shot victory at the Fighting Irish Classic on Oct. 5. He followed up with two more rounds of 67 as part of a 9-under 204 (67-70-67) and five-shot win at the OSU Invite on Oct. 12.
Manke is currently ranked No. 1 by Golfstat, No. 6 on the PGA Tour University rankings, and a member of the Haskins Award fall watch list.
