
Molden Named Campbell Trophy Semifinalist

Washington senior Elijah Molden has been named a semifinalist for the 2020 William V. Campbell Trophy, which is awarded annually to the nation's top football scholar-athlete by the National Football Foundation.
Molden, a defensive back from West Linn, Ore., has been named to the 2020 preseason All-America team by the Walter Camp Foundation, having earned both first-team All-Pac-12 and Academic All-District 8 last season. He was also the MVP of the 2019 Las Vegas Bowl, when Washington beat Boise State.
According to the National Football Foundation, Molden has an opportunity to earn an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship.
