March 04, 2020 | Track & Field
SEATTLE – The fields are set for the NCAA Indoor Championships, hosted next Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Readying for the trip are ten Huskies plus one relay for a total of 11 entries at the championships. That is up from the seven entries the Huskies achieved one year ago.
The top sixteen individuals in every event plus the top-12 relays make the cut for NCAA Indoors. National titles, team points, and All-America honors will now be on the line in Albuquerque.
ESPN3 will stream the championships live starting at 7:15 p.m. Eastern time March 13 and starting at 6 p.m. Eastern time March 14. A re-air of the championship will take place starting at 9 p.m. Eastern time Monday, March 16 on ESPNU.
The seventh-ranked Washington women's team has seven entries, tied with the 2005 squad for most in school history. The seven entries are also ninth-most in the NCAA, tied with Florida.
Washington also boasts three of the 16 entries in the women's 3k, the first time it has put three entries in one event since the women's mile in 2008.
