Huskies fall to No. 22 UCLA, 5-0

SEATTLE --- Washington faced their first Pac-12 opponent in a tough No. 22 UCLA team. The Huskies drops to 8-5 (0-1) while UCLA moves to 7-5 (1-0).
The Bruins got the on the board early with the doubles wins on No. 2 and No. 3 going 6-3, 6-0 respectively. Alexis Alvarez and Jack Davis on No. 1 went unfinished tied at five.
Singles did not go the Huskies way. UCLA started with wins on No 3 and No. 2, then clinched the match with a win on No. 1 as Ewen Lumsden had a tough three-set loss. The match on No. 6 followed shortly behind going the Bruins way. The remaining matches went unfinished.
The Huskies continue their home stretch on Sunday against No. 1 USC at noon in the Nordstrom Tennis Center.
