Huskies Fall 4-0 to No. 8 USC in Pac-12 Quarterfinals

The Huskies end the season at 7-17 while the Trojans advance and improve to 18-7 overall.
USC got the doubles point with quick victories at No. 2 and No. 3. In singles play, the match on court one was an impressive one as senior Enzo Sommer battled No. 10-ranked Brandon Holt in one of the best matches. After falling behind 4-2, Sommer battled back to tie the set at 4-4 before Holt pulled out the 6-4 win. Sommer again trailed in the second set 4-1, but was rallying when the match came to an end.
On court four, freshman Ewen Lumsden dropped the first set 6-1, but looked strong in the second, pulling out a 6-2 victory to even the match when play ended.
But the Trojans just proved to be too strong, pulling out 6-3, 6-1 victories on courts six and two, then following it up with a 6-4, 6-1 win on court five.
